Jennifer Dean’s Response to TPS Cancellation for El Salvador

Attorney Jennifer Dean responds to the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to terminate the TPS program for El Salvador by sharing:

“My mother was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador and enjoyed growing up in a large family with 11 brothers and sisters. She came to the United States when she was a teenager and is the most dedicated person I know. She learned English, became a citizen, got married, and raised me and my brother while covering evening shifts as an ICU nurse. She taught me the value of hard work and to always be grateful for each new day.”

Jennifer's Mother Elena“My mom, like many other immigrants, is one example of many who deserve the opportunity to live in the United States with their families. They do not deserve to be ignored and they do not deserve to be told to leave this great nation that has become their home. ”
